Important reminder concerning all athletic events at HMS/HHS as we start our fall athletic seasons: All students 8th grade and below MUST be accompanied by an adult to any athletic event. Students may NOT be dropped off at the gate and will not be allowed to enter without an accompanying adult. Thank you for your cooperation!
We have had a great start so far this week! Parents, as you drop off and pick up your students on Thursday and Friday, please remember the following procedures for car line:
-Supervision does not begin until 7:30 AM. Do not allow your student to unload until you see a faculty member at the crosswalk.
-Use the OUTSIDE lane only for morning drop off, the inside lane is reserved for staff and buses.
-You may enter either lane during afternoon pickup.

Hello, Hanceville Middle School families! Here are a few quick reminders as we get ready to kick off a great new school year!
Our Open House is tomorrow, Monday, August 10, from 3:00 until 6:00 PM. We invite you to stop by, meet your teachers, and get ready for the year ahead. We can’t wait for our students and families to experience our new addition, featuring our math & science Hall and our new library.
If you have a 6th grader or a student who is new to Hanceville Middle School, please join us for New Student Orientation at 5:00 PM in the Middle School Gym.
And while you’re here, be sure to stop by Fro’z Shaved Ice, which will be set up outside the gym. Grab a shaved ice and help support our HMS Robotics Team!
As a reminder, we will have a staggered start to the school year. Students with last names beginning with A through K will attend on Tuesday, August 11. Students with last names beginning with L through Z will attend on Wednesday, August 12. All students will attend beginning Thursday, August 13.
