Hanceville Middle School is hosting a Food Collection Challenge November 3–14 to support our local food bank and help provide meals for local families this Thanksgiving — and we’re calling out a few friends to join the fun!
We are challenging Holly Pond Middle School and Vinemont Middle School to see which school can collect the most food for families in need this season! Let’s turn a little friendly competition into a whole lot of good for our community. All items can be turned in at HMS anytime from November 3rd - 14th. The grade level who brings in the most items will be rewarded with a popcorn party, and the school with the most items donated will have bragging rights for the county! HMS Peer Helpers joined with others across the county for training today. These students display good character, kindness and a willingness to help their peers and communities everyday. AND! Our very own Cash Cone won the dance off!

Parents and Guardians: All 8th grade students will be attending the Tools of the Trade event on Thursday, Oct. 23, at Wallace State. We will leave the school at 8am and return around 1pm. Students will NOT be able to check in and/or check out during this event, so please plan accordingly. Due to space, this event for is for students only.
